The Saw Strikes Again! (caution: gruesome photo!)

Man, I'm cursed.  I think my saw is haunted by the soul of a mass murderer.  And this makes my previous accidents look like a walk in the park.  I swear I hit the bone with this one.  I'm suprised there wasn't gore left on the blade.  It's bleeding through the bandaid right at this minute.  What would I do if I couldn't blog about this?  Cry probably, and have a beer.

Ick:

And I had some woman want to return her perfectly beautiful custom order rings this morning.
Anyone want to buy these?:

It's been a bad day all around.  At least Gunter hasn't bit me.

Hi! Thanks for reading my blog. It's nice to know I'm not just talking to myself.

Yeah, I was pretty bummed about the return request, especially since everyone else who has purchase rings in that style seemed to really love them. Oh well. I told her I would take them, even though they are custom, but I haven't heard back from her. They're a size 4.5 and 5.

I just found your blog -- hello!

Also, those rings are delightful! I can't imagine returning them.

Hey Fellow Etsy Jeweler..
I too once cut my finger like that to the bone, horrible. It was when I was still in school trying to get a final platinum project done (probably was rushing) so even tho I went to the ER I wouldn't let them stitch it because I had to be able to keep working! The scar is still there but I'm no worse for it. Lovely work too

Hi Desiree,

Thank you for the compliment, and thanks for looking at my blog. I took a look at yours and your baby is the cutest little thing. I have a niece the exact same age just about! I also think your writing is funny, so I think you just might have another loyal reader.

Cheers,
Justine

Hi Renee,

I'd been so lucky all through school, not cutting myself too much (I did have a nasy accident with dop wax) that I was over confident. It definitely happens when you're in a hurry.

Love your jewelry too, btw. It's lovely.

Cheers,
Justine

OUCH!!! Hope the finger is feeling better. Maybe you should use some tape on your fingers when cutting. I've got some wood workers tape that sticks back on itself and has saved my fingers... it came from Lee Valley Tools. Come on, MOM, Gunter knows better than to bite you!

Who knows about the rings, but all will work out eventually. Don't beat yourself up! They are gorgeous!

Oh, and find a Boston just like you did with Gunter.

Hey Liz,

thanks for taking a look at my blog, and of course, the compliments about Gunter. He loves being told that he is cute and/or adorable. I'm thinking I should form a fan club for him.

Cheers!
