Preferences, anyone? I'm torn. At first I really liked the plain, but then I added the sapphires in the bands and wasn't so sure anymore.
I never use photoshop on my photos, sometimes good lighting does all the work for you. You really can't beat natural light, which here in the NW is a little scarce during the winter. I'm not quite sure what to do on cloudy days...sometimes I can't wait for the sun to come out to take a photo of a piece. Suggestions?

I like the plain the best. The sapphires are great, but the plain is even better.
I'm loving the plain because the design feels more focused. Really lovely work!
As for photographing your work w/o much sun, try a floodlight with a diffuser attached and a daylight bulb. The diffuser could be anything like vellum, cotton, etc, just be sure to keep it some distance away from the bulb as it gets extremely hot.

I also like the plain best, I think. That was my original plan, but the customer wanted to add stones to both bands. I'm such a magpie (shiny!), so I am often tempted to add more stones than I should. Thanks for the photography tips, I'll have to try it soon. It's just gets gloomier and gloomier here. :-)
