The Grass is Always Greener

Readers.  While I looooove my sunken treasure engagement ring,

sometimes, when I finish making a set of rings, I feel like this:

and I wish that reality was more like this:

rather than this:

Oh well.  I knew that I would have a hard time pleasing myself, no matter what I made.  If I had made that other one rather than the one that I did, I would be "waaah, I wish I had made this other one instead.  Or maybe that other one....or that one.  Maybe that one."  Darnit.

Happy Friday!

From my perspective, you can't really go wrong, can you? They are both amazing.

Maybe switch them out depending on your mood? Not very traditional, but traditional is so out of style. ;)

I came here to share this professional shot from my wedding of my lovely rings. Thanks again for everything!

@ Molly Thanks! I know, I should just be happy with what I have. And I am. But I also love shiny things, and when I finish something new I have this little twinge of regret.

@Nata Alas! Those lovely rings have already found their way to their rightful owner. I'm not sure I can justify the expense of TWO engagement rings. Where does it stop? Three (!!!), four (!!!!!)? :-) Thanks for sharing your photo! I hope your wedding went well. Congrats!
