Moving Studio (again)

It seems like I just moved into my current studio (8 months ago), but I'm moving again at the end of the month. One of my current studiomates, Alisha Alderman of Alisha Louise Designs, just bought a house with her husband (Congrats!) and she is moving her studio to a home space. My other studio mate, Cheyenne Weil of Gin and Butterflies, is going to move with me to a new and larger space in a cool old industrial building nearby. She might eventually move to a home studio as well, but for now I'm lucky to have her around. The new space is pretty cool. I'm excited to see it when it isn't full of the icky and slightly creepy grubbiness of its current hipster occupier. I'm pretty sure we can make it look really nice, and their are several bonuses!

1) I can now bring the pugs to work. Yay!
2) There is garbage and recycling! Yay!
3) USPS delivers and picks up from the site. Sweet!
4) Fedex and UPS make regular deliveries there. Yay!

Soon this:

Will be combined with this:

To everyones great satisfaction.

p.s. ... ..... .....

I have some very exciting news! It will be revealed to the public in July, but I might be convinced to share here on the blog earlier! It's so exciting!

@Kristine Thanks! I can't wait to be settled in there, but I'm not looking forward to the move. I'm sure I will be blogging about my exciting news in the next week or so. I just have to figure out how to do it.

@Lou Lou Belle Thanks! I'm super stoked to be able to take the pug-monsters to work. I'm sure they are excited as well. It can't be fun to be cooped up at home all day long. I hope I'm not blowing my exciting news out of proportion, but it really is exciting to me!

@Alicia Thanks! I'm hoping the new place doesn't require to much work. It might need to be painted blue!

As for the big surprise, I will only say that it has something to do with weddings............ ....

So glad you two were able to find an even better space than the one we shared. Here's to movin' on up! I can't wait to come and see it when you're finished setting up. We will have to set up mutual studio tours!

Also, great blog!

Alisha (yer studiomate)

I completely missed that you could bring the pugs... that is so cool! Especially since you have the most adorable pugs I've ever seen (I love them but my fiance only likes big dogs... boo!). Blue in an old, industrial building sounds like it will look great.

Sorry, I hope it's not weird to have a stranger commenting on your blog. I was just browsing your etsy list again and followed the links. :)
